Elk Grove Veterans Day Parade– Again this year, Post 233 will be hosting the parade with assistance from Lynden King, Post 55, CSD and community volunteers.  If you want to march in the parade, or ride in a vehicle with either post or with the VFW, please contact your organization for their plans for the day. As usual it will start at the CSD building on Elk Grove Blvd at 11:11 am and travel to Elk Grove Regional Park via Elk Grove-Florin Road. If you have friends or are a part of another organization who would like to be in the parade, you can find a copy of the parade participant application on http://AmericanLegionElkGrove.com As usual the Elk Grove Lions Club is providing the hotdogs and the Rotary Club and the Optimist Club are preparing them. There will be 1000 hotdogs available at Elk Grove Park after the parade. First come-first served. There will be tables set aside for our veterans.

I want to start out by saying thanks to my fellow veterans for your service and suggest that you should be in contact with your local American Legion or VFW.

Have you joined your local American Legion or VFW or the Marine Corps League? We have two American Legion Posts in Elk Grove. Post 55 & Post 233. Check them out and find the one that works for you.

Sorry that you missed The Wall That Heals, to visit the Sacramento Area 3/30-4/2/23
