Farmers Markets

I don’t know about you, but I love Farmer’s Markets

Local Farmer’s Markets

Although I have to admit that my favorite Farmer’s Market is in Paris, France, near the Eiffel Tower, we have some nice ones locally.

For several years, we have had a Farmers Market at the Laguna Gateway Shopping Center (at Big Horn Blvd. and Laguna Blvd.) is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. It is in the Sprout’s shopping center.

Of course, Sprouts is a great place to shop for your fruits and vegies during the week. Remember that their sales flyers overlap and on Wednesdays, you can get the discounts from the prior week’s flyer as well as the new flyer.

If you can’t make it to the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, here is an option for every Sunday.  The City of Elk Grove and Living Smart Foundation, proudly announce the opening of the Old Town Elk Grove Farmers Market. This market offers locally grown produce, gourmet foods and snacks, entertainment, and special events. What’s more, a portion of all sales helps support the Living Smart Foundation, a non-profit that specializes in the education of youth and families in health, business, financial management, and life skills. Find out more about this farmers market and the foundation’s services at I Love My Farmers  This market is open every Sunday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Town Plaza (9615 Railroad Street)
