Our Annual Empty Bowls event is delicious, fun and for a good cause. Coming together to eat and enjoy music and conversation is more of what our world needs, and we’re here to do just that!

An Empty Bowls ticket includes the following:

• A hand-crafted ceramic bowl made by Elk Grove Unified High School District student artists. This is yours to keep!
• Unlimited soup, salad, bread and dessert provided by participating local restaurants
• An evening of community-building and celebration

What is the Interfaith Council of Elk Grove?

The purposes of the Interfaith Council of Elk Grove are:

1)To promote understanding, dialogue and communication among the various faith communities in the Elk Grove, CA area, and between these and the community-at-large;

2) To include faith-based and non-faith-based, civic and humanitarian service focused entities in this work;

3) And to promote and coordinate the cooperative efforts and activities of the faith community, affirming and recognizing the intersecting, interconnected and inseparable principles of Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion.
